MAINTENANCE & SHUTDOWN PLANNER
(Kuala Lumpur)
Responsibilities:
• Provide full maintenance & shutdown planning capability across all assets for Operation Department.
• Monitor and control the planning by timely analysis of changes so that corrective action may be taken where necessary to meet company & client on targets.
• Provide the overall department planning capability on major activities for Operations Department.
• 5 years integrity to weekly maintenance.
• Liaise with department staff to ensure that the plan covers all aspects of the event realistically and in sufficient detail.
• Pro- active expediting role to ensure delivery of planned activities.
• Procurement monitoring and a liaison with department staff on the parts and material status.
• Highlight & report the progress status of maintenance back log to Operation Superintendents on weekly basis.
• Participate in weekly Asset & Team Planning meeting.
• Prepare and compile monthly Operation highlights Reports.
• Prepare and continuously develop shutdown plans.
Requirements:
• A university degree in Engineering or equivalent subject /experience.
• Experience in the oil & gas industry or related industry.
• Knowledge of computer based of planning tools e.g Primavera P3/MS Project including Microsoft Suite e.g Excel, word & Power Point.
• 3 years or more experience in the oil and gas industry or related industry.
• Preferences will be given to candidates with the relevant specific project planning skill and with proven experience in the aforementioned role within the oil & gas industry
• Experience in working directly or indirectly for maintenance orientated Oil & Gas company or related industry.
