business, social and government sectors. Current partners include the Clinton
Foundation, BRAC, PSI, and Marie Stopes. LG has also advised top global brands

We are seeking a
self-motivated, passionate professional to help partners replicate Living
Goods’ success. This position is based in Kampala, Uganda, with travel 30-50%
of the time. This is a full time role requiring a minimum two-year commitment.
By collaborating with leading international NGOs, businesses and governments to
replicate our business model, you will have the opportunity to improve the
health and livelihoods of millions of underserved customers.
Roles &
Responsibilities
- Support
new country research to help identify opportunities for replication
through partnerships. - Contribute
to successful execution of partnership engagements by helping partners
adapt Living Goods’ model and tools including: market research, business
plan development, operations design, financial modeling, adapting mobile
technology, and staff development. - Cultivate
relationships with potential funders, partners, governments and other
social enterprises. - Develop
materials detailing the LG model, best practices, and lessons learned to share
through our networks and social media channels.
Qualifications
- 5 +
years with in one or more of the following: an operating role in a large
NGO working in health or entrepreneurship, top tier consulting firm, a
major funder of foreign aid. - Experience
winning and successfully managing large aid contracts from USAID, DFID,
Global Fund, Gates Foundation, etc. - A
proven track record of delivering results and exceeding expectations in a
client-facing role. - Experience
working in developing countries with culturally diverse teams. - Superior
quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. - Proven
ability to present information in an insightful and structured manner, and
inspire confidence in a wide variety of audiences. - Passionate
about designing and scaling innovative, market-based approaches to improve
lives of the poor. - Excellent
computer skills and working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, knowledge of
mobile technology a plus. - Language
skills, particularly French or Portuguese a plus.
