Real-Estate, Commercial and Residential Property Development, Hospitality,

About the Opportunity:
Our Client is currently restructuring its organization and expanding existing
business activities, while growing new markets and products. The organization
seeks to expand its current operational growth strategy, thus need for
additional recruitment of key roles in Sales & Marketing. This is an
opportunity for high energetic and dynamic professionals to join one of the
fastest growing organizations in Rwanda and East Africa.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for overseeing the group’s
business development activities by researching and seizing marketing
opportunities, while creating ongoing innovative growth concepts, forecasting
Sales Revenue, identifying Competitive trends, exploring New Business
opportunities from within existing Clients base and new territories,
maintaining excellent Client Relationship Management, Client Services and
managing the Sales & Marketing Staff.
- Contribute to organizational growth plans through
the set-up, implementation of growth strategies - Determine annual and gross-profit plans by
forecasting and developing annual sales quotas - Project expected sales revenue and profit
from the existing customer base and new business - Improve product marketability and profitability
by recommending new growth opportunities - Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence
and reports to Senior Management - Sustain good rapport with key accounts while
exploring needs and upsell opportunities - Prepare and implement customer-service oriented
objectives; resolving customers’ problems - Provide frequent Sales reports by collecting,
analyzing, and summarizing data and trends - Accomplish Human Resources objectives for Sales
& Marketing staff - Motivate Sales & Marketing staff in exceeding
given objectives and sales quotas - Protect the organization’s values while holding a
professional attitude
- A bachelor’s degree in business, economics
or equivalent qualification - A Master’s or Post graduate degree is an added
advantage ( but not compulsory)
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in managing a
Sales & Marketing teams - A proven track record in conceptualizing and
implementing Sales & Marketing Campaigns - A history of meeting Sales Goals through Sales
Planning, Building Relationships, Managing Processes, Market Knowledge,
Developing Budgets
- Problem Solving Skills and ability to hold
complex Negotiations are essential qualities - The candidate must be result driven and able to
motivate or inspire both junior and senior staff
- The candidate must be focused on quality and
delivering excellent services - The candidate must have exceptional communication
and skills and the ability to multitask - Ability to work in a fast changing and dynamic
environment
