Qualification
and Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Law, with a Certificate in Corporate Law being an
advantage.
Experience: 12+ PQE (post-qualification
experience), must be admitted to practice before the Courts of the Republic of
Botswana as an Attorney, Notary Public and Conveyancer and should be an
experienced Conveyancing Attorney.
Competencies: Analytical capabilities.
- Excellent
written and verbal skills. - Experience
drafting and negotiating standard sale of business, sale of shares and
property development agreements. - In
depth knowledge of the main forms of security in Botswana law. - Knowledge
of substantive and procedural laws in commercial litigation. - Computer
literacy and ability to use electronic databases for research purposes. - Results
oriented and performance driven. - Ability
to work to deadlines and work the hours required of professional staff.
