Contract Manager
(Kuala Lumpur)
Responsibilities:
• To monitor all contractual issues of the project undertaken and to review the main contract and subcontractor and documentation and negotiation.
• Review terms of contract and capable of handling contract administration, construction claims, legal and contractual issues.
• Analyzes significant and unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedure.
• To prepare cost estimates for tender, budget and feasibilities studies of project.
• To monitor and assist in settlement of final account with client and sub-contractors.
• To monitor on amendments and changes to the scope of work and conditions of contract, variation orders and extension of time.
Requirements:
• Diploma / Degree in Building, QS or other relevant building related discipline with at least 8 years experience in similar capacity with a construction company.
• Attention to details is a must.
• Possess strong contractual knowledge, negotiation and writing skills.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English is a pre-requisite.
• Good networking with contractors, suppliers and relevant parties to conduct strategic sourcing of materials.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with Client/Consultants.
• Able to work under pressure and deliver within committed deadlines.
• Good knowledge and understanding in overall processes of contract management including feasibilities study, construction cost, tender process, cost control, etc.
• Good work attitude, able to work independently and team player.
• Full-time position available.
