The
Position:
Reporting to the
Senior Manager, Personal Banking & Channels, the job holder will be
responsible for the overall leadership, management, growth and profitability of
the branch business and implementation of an efficient and effective
operational, risk management, customer service and sales culture within the
branch.
- Develop
periodic branch retail strategy in order to ensure the sustainability
business growth.
- Oversee
the branch operations in order to ensure superior service offering to all
branch customers.
- Control
operational costs by ensuring efficient utilization of branch recourses
within the budget.
- Coach
and Mentor branch staff and measure their performance in order to build a
high performing team.
- Monitor
branch report liability and asset portfolio with ultimate aim of ensuring
that it remains profitable.
- Ensure
compliances with policy and procedure in order to reduce business risks.
- Ensure
that branch process are within agreed T.AT in order to leave customer
satisfaction.
The
Person:
For the above
position, the successful applicant should have:
- University
Degree from a recognized institution. Possession of a postgraduate degree
or professional qualification in a related field will be an added
advantage.
- Minimum
of 6 years’ experience in Branch Operations and Management and at least 1
years’ experience in credit management and sales a proven record of
successfully managing and growing a portfolio banking clients.
- Extensive
and thorough knowledge of the financial services dynamics as well as
specific knowledge of banking products and services.
- Complete
knowledge and clear understanding of the bank’s operations, processes and
operating systems.
- Sound
knowledge of the business environment and operating dynamics of Rwanda.
- Strong
leadership and interpersonal skills to manage strategy, change, diversity,
financial performance, productivity, championing customer focus, and in
managing people in a multi-cultural environment.
- Strong
communication and negotiation skills with the ability to network and
develop strong internal and external business relationships.
- Ability
to be innovative in identifying and harnessing new and existing
opportunities to maximize business results while being highly action
oriented.
- A high
level of business acumen and ability to display orientation to market
dynamics and profit orientation.
- A
proven track record in delivering results.
- Possess
good risk and financial analysis skills.
