Is
a senior level position, and will be in charge of monitoring, evaluation and research
components of this contract, S/he will be responsible for the design and
implementation of a Learning Agenda, S/he will also develop monitoring ,
evaluation and reporting systems that include appropriate indicators, baseline
data, targets and a plan to evaluate performance and produce timey accurate and
a plan to evaluate performance and complete reporting.

Masters
Degree or higher in Public Health, Social Sciences, or other relevant
discipline, Minimum 5 yrs working in monitoring, evaluation and research in the
public health field, with progressively increasing level of responsibility,
Demonstrated expertise in rigorous quantitative and qualitative research and
analytical methods, Excellent report writing, analytical and communication
skills including oral presentation skills, Proven experience in research/study
design and implementation including design and data analysis of quantitative
and qualitative studies, rapid appraisals, etc, Demonstrated hand son practical
experience setting up and managing monitoring, evaluation, and research systems
for health programs, Extensive experience in knowledge management and
dissemination of research findings, Experience working with Malawi or
demonstrated understanding of country context desirable
