The Biomedical Research Institute of Lleida
(IRBLleida) is inviting applications for two open postdoctoral positions
available under the IRBLleida International Postdoctoral Programme
(IRBLLEIDA-IPP). The programme will consist of 4 calls for a total of 10
positions for a two year postdoctoral stay. The postdoctoral researchers will
have the opportunity to join one research group at the Institute and will
follow an individual research project under the supervision and mentoring of
group leader/s in a stimulating and multidisciplinary scientific

– Candidates must hold a PhD at the time of the deadline for submission of
applications.
– Candidates who have performed the PhD thesis at the Biomedical Research
Institute of Lleida/ Universitat de Lleida will not be eligible.
– The PhD cannot have been awarded more than four years before the deadline for
submission of applications. Exceptions will be made for: Career break due
to childbirth: Women can claim one additional year per children up to a maximum
of three years and Other documented career breaks: paternity leave, illness.

studies, etc.) in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately

What does it cover?
-Employment contract with a gross salary of 30.000
€ per year including full security coverage, which includes health and accident
insurance, pension and unemployment benefits.

Selection Criteria: Applicants that pass the evaluation and selection stages based on eligibility
and previous scientific achievements will be asked to contact the host groups
and write a research project for the final candidates’ selection. The project
should have a maximum length of four pages and will have to be sent to the
Institute in a period of two weeks.
