Accountabilities:
- Manage
and track all print and special request projects - Generate
clever headlines and body copy for advertorials, 1 and 2 page ads, product
plugs, television and radio commercial scripts, social media platforms and
integrated initiatives, sales support material, brochures, product labels,
POS signage, press releases and web content Route, edit and revise
all projects according to feedback from all appropriate channels and
company members, including Brand Management, Sales, R&D,
Regulatory, Legal Affairs, Executives, and Copy Editor - Work
on several ads or campaigns at the same time, under tight deadlines - Work
to generate product strategies - Oversee
ad development from beginning to end - Create
substantiation packages for Media organizations (print and television) - Provide
questionnaires and conduct interviews for athletes and Before
and After models - Keep
up-to-date with popular culture and trends - Analyze
and have a strong understanding of the various media (magazines) in which
the advertisements appear - Work
on additional side projects as assigned - Develop
a solid grasp of the nutritional supplement (specifically, weight-loss,
body building and sports supplements) and fitness industries, as well as
the basics of nutrition and exercise, this will include basic scientific
terminology and concepts - Develop
a strong understanding of the products your team is responsible for, and
stay up-to-date with any changes or advancements related to the products - Be
informed of and stay up-to-date with competitors’ products and advertising - Be
proactive in establishing all project requirements and recognizing
potential hurdles at the onset of project delegation, to ensure effective
completion in a timely manner - Work
with other Marketers and departments to discuss and understand company
needs and requirements

- Post-Secondary
Education in Marketing, Advertising or related field - Minimum
3 years of related experience preferably within a consumer packaged goods
environment - Ability
to write clear, imaginative copy that is on strategy, in a variety of
styles, with proper spelling and grammar - Ability
to handle constructive criticism of material, and an understanding that
many ideas will need to be adapted to suit the needs of others - Knowledge
and understanding of marketing, advertising, and the sport supplement
industry is an asset - Proactive
and able to continuously manage change in an extremely fast paced,
energetic work environment - Outstanding
communication and problem-solving skills - Proficient
in the use of MS Office Suite
