Hudson Mining have exclusively secured the
opportunity to partner with a global leader in the mining industry to source
multiple geological, mining and minerals processing professionals for a
Greenfield Nickel Mine soon to commence operation in the APAC region.

Within the EPCM Contract and Transition Department your responsibilities will
include:

  • Define purchasing policy for different
    families of products, goods and services while managing the business
    relationship with suppliers
  • Prospect markets, assess the suppliers’
    ability to meet the requirements of cost, time, quality and quantity
  • Support Buyers in particularly difficult and /
    or strategic negotiations
  • Ensure the optimization of sourcing practices
    by continuously monitoring suppliers according to objectives set
  • Negotiate and implement contracts. Ensure that
    they meet contractual terms negotiated
  • Monitor KPIs
  • Monitor procurement budgets and ensure
    reporting is done 
To be suitable you will have the following
qualifications and experience:
  • Tertiary qualified or similar with a
    specialisation in purchasing, international business, and contract
    management
  • Successful professional experience of min 10
    years in a similar level position
  • Background in mining, processing industry
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset
  • Extensive knowledge of various ERP systems
  • Good knowledge of trading and purchasing
    techniques as well as customs regulations
  • Knowledge of French trading laws and common
    law
This role is offered on a 4 year residential
permanent basis. Sponsorship visa, relocation, housing and insurance will be
provided. Bilingual Skills in French and English Languages
are essential and non-negotiable.
