My
client is looking for those individuals with a vested interest in the financial
arena. On a daily basis you will be liaising with Directors of the biggest
banks such as HSBC, RBS, etc representing and maintaining your company’s reputation.
You
will be extensively trained, with Graduate training academies, hands on
training learning from the absolute best in the industry. This will fully equip
you with the necessary skills you will need to develop your career based on
performance and make yourself a lot of money in this unrivalled Recruitment
arena.
The
aim of the game is to persuade people who are already in roles to look at what
the market is offering. Therefore, this role needs someone who is confident,
savvy, can think on their feet.  You should be naturally personable and an
excellent listener in order to retrieve the information you need from a
potential candidate.
It
is a glorified telesales initially, as you will have to really prove yourself
in terms of handling objections, being self-motivated and handling
rejection.  It is long hours, because the individuals you need to speak
with about their potential future opportunities are unable to speak with you at
length during their working hours. You will need to speak with them before they
start work or in the evening.
Salary
18K + approx 45K in commission in your first year, 60K in commission in your
second year, 100K if not more in your third year.
There
are fantastic incentives in place, including ipad 2s, iphone 4s, kindles, champagne,
lunch clubs for top billers, free gym membership, blackberry work phone given
to you, all bills paid, transport covered in expenses, it is very much a
lifestyle business.
Interview
process, group day, consisting of presenting a one minute pitch summarising key
achievements. The company’s Director will then present information about the
company. Those who engage in conversation and show they are eager will be asked
to come back and conduct a “work placement” morning where you will be listening
to a few calls and then making a few calls to show you have the potential,
those who are successful will be offered a position at the company. Usually
turned around in one week.
Ideally
you will have some exposure to promoting, persuading, negotiating, fundraising
etc in some form or other. 2:1’s are CRUCIAL, they will look at those Graduates
with a 2:2 but with at least 2 years+ sales experience. You must be extremely
competitive and ready to work towards targets.
