Great Southern Hotel Housekeeping Attendant/House Person

The Great Southern Hotel (GSH) is a busy hotel located
in the heart of Sydney’s vibrant entertainment district, offering 166
rooms. The hotel is within walking distance of the CBD, China Town, Darling
Harbour, Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre and much more.

The Great Southern Hotel is currently seeking positive, reliable and
experienced House Person/Housekeeping Attendant on casual basis to join our
team. This is a combined role. You must take pride in your work and be willing
to go that “extra mile” to make our guest’s stay an enjoyable one.
This is a physically demanding role that requires an energetic and enthusiastic
person with a high level of personal fitness. We are seeking someone who is
ready and willing to work as part of a team.

Successful candidates will:

-Have a keen eye for detail
-Be self-motivated and be able to work unsupervised

-Be flexible and available for work across a 7 day
roster including early morning shifts.

-Have knowledge and understanding of basic hygiene
requirements and safe working procedures
-Be committed to providing extraordinary service
-Have good communication and interpersonal skills
-Previous experience in a 4 to 5 star establishment, or industrial cleaning, is
highly advantageous.
