The Position
GLE is looking for an experienced Foreman for
Electrical Projects. This position will require extensive experience in
managing electrical projects, and importantly, a deep understanding of
electrical work as well as a broad understanding of all construction related
work, including plumbing and water
systems.

The Activities
- Project Planning
o Produce realistic project budgets & Schedules
o Produce project Work Plans on Gant Charts
o Ensure Client location has all necessary resources to perform all work
o Ensure all resource requirements are documented and pre-approved by the
client.
o Identify barriers and opportunities to implement Best Practices
o Identify project risks and plan accordingly
o Produce project Work Plans on Gant Charts

- Project Execution
o Ensure projects are completed on budget and on
schedule
o Update work plan as project progresses
o Supervise a team of 6-10 technicians
o Create As-Built drawings
o Communicate with client frequently to ensure all expectations are being met

- Quality Control & Maintenance

o Identify and implement quality control procedures

Qualifications
- Required: Any of the following degrees in
Electrics
o Electrical Technical A1 or higher
o Electrical Engineering
o Electrical Engineering

o Strong organization skills
o Ability to read electrical plans and architectural drawings
o Experience leading team of technicians on Electrical installations
o Experience with budgets
o Experience with Work Plans

o Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel
