Location: Kuujjuaq, Ungava Peninsula in Nunavik, northern QuebecWe are seeking volunteer workers to join us in
Canada’s Far North to
work as trip leader assistants and camp attendants on our ‘Caribou,
Autumn Colours & Aurora’ wildlife expeditions to the Ungava region of
Nunavik, Canada, to help us set up and operate remote wildlife viewing
camps. These camps are being set up for photographers to experience
the autumn caribou migration, musk-oxen herds, and northern lights.
We request your services on the field in exchange for room, board,
travel costs (from Montreal), and m
ostly for the privilege to
participate in an incredible wildlife experience / wilderness
adventure at one of the most remote areas in Canada. You can learn

Duties include general labour, helping load and unload small aircraft,
assisting on some construction improvement projects, cleaning cabins,
setting up tents, maintaining camp yard, assisting with meal
preparation / kitchen cleanup, and assisting trip leaders with
delivering daily interpretive wildlife, natural history and
archaeological programs on the field. Successful assistants will be
considered for paid positions in future seasons.
All travel paid from and return to Montreal, and tent accommodations
and meals while on the field. Term is from August 29 to September 28,
2014.
