Graça Machel SASOL Scholarships, UK

Canon Collins Trust is pleased to invite scholarship applications from Mozambican women for postgraduate study in South Africa or the UK starting in 2013. Scholarships are available for study in the following fields:
  • Science
  • Engineering and technology
  • Health and medical sciences
We accept applications for Honours, Masters and PhD study.  The maximum funding periods are as follows:

            Masters                             2 years                 1 year
            PhD                                  3 years                  3 years
Continued funding depends on satisfactory progress and academic reports.
What we offer:
Scholarships cover the full cost of study, including:
  • Tuition fees paid in full
  • A stipend to cover living expenses
  • Medical insurance for scholars studying in South Africa
  • A study resources allowance
  • A travel allowance to cover the cost of flights
Are you eligible?
Applicants must be:
  • Female
  • Mozambican national
  • Normally resident in southern Africa
  • Seeking to study at postgraduate level in Science, Engineering and Technology or Health
  • Seeking to study at a South African or UK university.
