This long
established, family owned company undertakes commercial shopfitting and
interiors construction contracts across the whole of Australia, with typical
projects ranging from $0.5M – $1.5M in value.
Their clients include many
prominent retail and corporate brands. They are now looking for a Business
Development Manager to join them and expand their client base.
This is a new role
within the company so you will have plenty of opportunity to set your own
direction and contribute your own ideas. You will work closely with a dedicated
project manager and estimator, with the goal of growing and then servicing a
new client base in the retail and commercial interior space. You will have
support to represent the business including new marketing materials and an
updated website.
Your background
should include demonstrated success in a sales or business development role
within the construction industry, ideally with experience in retail and/or
interiors projects. A good network of relevant contacts including architects
will be very beneficial and you need to have a persistent and determined
approach to all business development activities.
This is a great
chance to take on a role that you can shape around your own strengths, with a
stable, established company. The likely salary package is negotiable in the
range of $80-100k, plus a car allowance.
