GOAL is currently recruiting for the following positions based in Agago and Kampala Districts.
Logistics Officer – Kalongo, Agago District
General Description of the Role:
Reporting to the Programme Manager Pader, the Logistics Officer will be a member of the senior management team in Agago District. The position holder with strong delegation and coordination skills will be responsible for ensuring GOAL policies are fully respected in all GOAL operations in the district. This will require strong organisational skills in order to meet these objectives in an ever changing environment.
The primary role for the Logistics Officer is to implement standard GOAL Logistics Policy in support of programme objectives in the District.
N.B Salary Range for all positions is; 1.5- 2.0 million Shillings
Requirements (Essential):
• Bachelors degree in Logistics/Procurement or its equivalent;
• At least 3 years’ experience as a logistician with a busy international NGO in a field environment;
• Proven experience in procurement, warehouse management, fleet, premises and assets management;
• Proven supervisory skills and people management ability;
• Proven and unquestionable integrity;
• Experience and ability to lead and build a strong & dynamic team;
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft packages like Excel ,word and outlook (particularly emphasis on Excel);
• Good report writing skills;
• Positive attitude with good sense of humor;
• Ability to live and work in a remote location.
Desirable requirements:
• Flexibility and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to influence others for positive change
