Tax Accountant (Newly created Position)
West Area (Singapore Science Park 2)
Requirements
• Accountancy Degree or equivalent
• Between 2–3 years relevant experience in a similar capacity in a MNC or CPA firms
• An appreciation of tax and statutory requirements for countries in Asia Pacific
• Well versed in PC skills particularly in MS Office (Excel, Words, Powerpoint)
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and good interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and possessing the ability to work in a task driven environment
Responsibilities
• Assist in monthly collation of information for month-end closing;
• Month-end closing JE entries;
• Collate salary details for Global’s personnel involved in projects;
• Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations;
• Assist in information extraction for preparation of tax schedules;
• Assist in Corporate and Individual tax computation and return review;
• Assist in GST/VAT/WHT review/adjustments and return;
• Assist in uploading quarterly income statements for tax provision computations;
• Assist in tax forecast;
• Assist in tax input for project bids;
• Administrative work such as documentation and scanning for record; and
• Any other ad hoc work and jobs assigned
