Watermark Theatre, North Rustico,
PEI, is casting a diverse company of bilingual actors for it’s 21 city national
tour and 2015 season.

Auditions
Selected candidates will be invited
to audition with 2 monologues, 1 contemporary or classic piece in each of the
official languages in:
Montreal, Toronto or Vancouver
Video auditions will only be
accepted from actors offering, living at a great distance from the centres
above.
Tour
Rehearsals start: January 5, 2015,
N. Rustico
Performances: February 1 to May 15,
2015, 21 cities, all provinces and territories.
Season
Rehearsals start: May 18, N. Rustico
Performances: June 2 – September 6,
Watermark Theatre, N. Rustico
Breakdown
The touring play, Canada 300,
written by 9 contributing writers, will be performed in both official languages
by 5 actors. We enthusiastically invite actors of all ethnicities, orientations
and backgrounds to apply for the following roles:
Role one: Man, 25-55, First nations,
traditional and modern dance an asset
Role two: Man, 25- 55, buffoon/clown
experience.
Role three: Woman, 20-40,
buffoon/clown experience, dance or movement experience
Role four: Woman, 25-55,
buffoon/clown experience, dance or movement experience
Role five, Woman, 25-55,
buffoon/clown experience, dance or movement experience
All actors must be fluent in French
and English.
Equity members will be seen first at
all open audition calls. Artists cast in this production will be engaged under
an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to
the audition.
