for Nutritious Foods, Rwanda (1 year contract)

The GAIN Marketplace
for Nutritious Foods (‘Marketplace’) is a knowledge, networking and financing
platform for local enterprises to improve the market availability of nutritious
foods. It facilitates partnerships and knowledge sharing across the agriculture
value chain and catalyzes innovations to improve the diets of ordinary
Rwandans.

GAIN is seeking an
experienced and dynamic Project Manager to implement and oversee the
Marketplace for Nutritious Foods project in Rwanda. The Project Manager will be
responsible for developing a network with the private sector, understanding
their commercial needs and will help to identify business solutions. Further,
the Project Manager will be responsible for effectively managing the
performance of sub-contractors and technical consultants.

The ideal candidate
will have substantial project management experience in public health or
nutrition and will possess strong business skills and an understanding of
markets. Further, they must have experience of working in Rwanda. Applicants
must have the right to work in Rwanda.

This is a 1 year
contract with a possibility of extension, subject to availability of funding.
