Controlled Therapeutics (Scotland) Limited is an established and profitable drug delivery company situated in East Kilbride. The company manufactures and distributes controlled release products to worldwide markets.
The company is seeking to recruit a temporary Formulation Scientist to develop novel pharmaceutical products using CTS’s proprietary polymer technologies. Reporting to the Formulation Manager and working within a small team, the position would include product and process development as well as clinical and stability batch manufacture.
The ideal candidate would be a pharmacist or life science graduate with 2-3 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a Formulation role. The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate an ability to be innovative, demonstrate good scientific knowledge and have evidence of first-rate laboratory skills and be able to illustrate an awareness of cGMP. In addition, he / she should have excellent oral and written communication skills, have experience working within a team environment and managing their time effectively.
This position is temporary in the first instance; however it may be extended or converted to a permanent position in the future.
