Report directly to the Director of operations of the mine
Oversee finance, costing, stores and procurement
Statutory financial accounting
Attention to detail
Mature and able to negotiate at senior management level
Need a strong and energetic individual with solid managerial experience
Able to mentor and develop team
Minimum Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Financial Management
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial management in the mining industry
Mining experience – commercial/accounting/budgeting
Preferably come from a diamond mining industry
Must be up to date on the accounting environment and compliance
Worked in Africa previously
