Job Description
The Ghana National Commission on Small Arms is looking for suitably qualified, goal-oriented and results driven persons with exceptional qualities for appointment.The Object of the position is to provide technical support for the achievement of the plans and programmes of the Commission
• Develops and implements appropriate programmes and projects for the achievement of the Commission’s objectives
• Supervises the implementation of the M&E activities of the Commission
• Coordinates the implementation of policies and programmes and designs monitoring mechanisms to ensure achievement of GNCSA Strategic Plans
• Liaises with Sub-regional and international affiliates/bodies on small arms control
Qualifications
• Advanced University Degree or equivalent in relevant fields (eg. Business Administration, Public Administration or Social Sciences)
• Minimum of 8 years post-qualification relevant work experience, 4 years of which must be in a senior management position in reputable Institution
• Computer literacy in micro-soft office suite
• Strong strategic planning and analytical skills
• Excellent leadership, administrative and Communication Skills
• Advocacy, international relations and research skills
• Strong Programme and Project management skills
