- Degree
in Physiotherapy - 2
years post qualification experience - Registration
with Botswana health Professions Council

and incorporates cost saving initiatives into budgets. - Plans,
implements, evaluates, treats and progresses patient care to maximise
functional independence and rehabilitation potential within scope of
practice - Maintains
patient documentation, records and accurate statistical information to
reflect care provided - Communicates
and makes recommendations to all relevant disciplines of staff to optimise
patient care - Aligns
sectional clinical guidelines to industry best practice to optimise
patient care - Develops
ergonomic related programs for the mine as required in conjuntion with
other discipline experts - Monitors
occupational injury disease trends in liaison with the occupational
therapy section in various areas of the mine through statistical and
patient record analysis and makes necessary recommendations - Determines
appropriate stock levels for the unit. Monitors stock valuations on a
regular basis and analyses reports on variances and stock losses - Completes
billing charge sheets to recover cost of treatment through billing of
patients - Reviews
Physiotherapy policies and procedures and submits to the supervisor for
approval - Takes
cognisance and adheres to hospital policies regarding customer service. - Takes
cognisance of and adheres to policies and procedures relating to
inter-alia safety and environmental issues. - Implements
knowledge management principles through application of tools and
methodologies to continuously improve and sustain business performance - Establishes
and maintains Business Partner relationships with all key stakeholders to
facilitate the optimal functioning of the functional area
