Position Description:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill the
following vacant positions at the Dar es Salaam University College of Education
(DUCE) situated at Chang’ombe, Temeke District, Dar es Salaam.
Duties:
This is a training grade for regular security work under close supervision.
Assists in the daily routine beats around the campus so as to maintain peace
and order.
To guard the property of the College.
Performs any other duties as assigned by one’s reporting officer.
Terms:Permanent and Pensionable
Qualifications
Applicants must be holders of Form IV certificate with passes in English,
Kiswahili, History or Civics or Form VI with passes in English, Kiswahili and
History plus National Service Training and/or People’s Militia Training Phase
II and/or any other form of military training. The candidate must be vetted by
the Tanzania Police force.
Terms: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale:within PGSS 3-4

Two recent passport size photos, certified copies of Academic Certificates and
the applicant’s birth Certificates must be attached. Names, positions and
