Staff Nurse Required for a Prominent Care Facility or Aged People in beautiful suburb of Limerick City
In partnership with its client, Cpl Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Gerontology Nurse.
The client:
Our client’s Aged Care facility is centrally located in a leafy suburb of Limerick City. This luxurious purpose built facility has 52 beds. Most rooms are Single ensuite and are beautifully decorated.
Our client’s main aim is to enhance the quality of life of all Residents and respect their right to dignity, individuality, religious beliefs, independence and a personal choice to participate in individual or communal in house activities.
Job Requirements:
*Should be fully registered with An Bord Altranais and on their live register. Further information can be obtained by logging onto www.nursingboard.ie
*Have a minimum of 1-2 year post registration experience in the area of gerontology nursing
*Proven clinical competence in the care of the older adult and desire to progress your career in the area of dementia care or care of the older person.
Accredited Training in Dementia Care and/or Higher Diploma in Gerontology desired but not essential.
Strong leadership skills required to coordinate junior team members.
