client is a well known apartment specialist located in the Eastern suburbs.
They have been in operation for over 10 years and are growing steadily.
This recent growth means they have

a vacancy in the estimating team for
and up & coming QS/estimator.
They
will undertake projects on a fully documented basis as well as D & C
contracts ranging in value from $500,000 – $20M. They are looking for an
intermediate candidate who is technically strong capable of accurately
measuring every trade and creating a top class BOQ.
As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills and
attributes:

- A
minimum of 2 years post graduate experience - Ability
to work in a team environment and unsupervised - Quality
take offs - Ability
to accurately and methodically measure all sub-contract trades - Ability
to develop and maintain excellent relationships - Ability
to read and interpret building plans/engineering drawings
We’re
happy to look at candidates from builder and/or consultancy/PQS backgrounds.
The successful applicant will receive a leading salary starting at
$60,000 up to $90,000 dependent on experience from a forward thinking company
who values all of its employees, from senior management right down.
