Purpose of Job
Responsible for regional sales performance and sector development for Eastern Europe

Main Responsibilities, Tasks and Duties
Customer/ Territory Management
o Manage the existing business to achieve a minimum of budgeted sales levels
o Evaluate current and new potential customers
o Meet or exceed agreed sales budget targets and profit margins
o Develop and drive new business in the designated sales region
o Recruit and manage agents and distributors in all designated territories
o Establish Distribution contracts with all key accounts

Marketing
o Providing recommendations for trade shows/ exhibitions
o Provide and update market intelligence to ensure that the company stays ahead of market requirements, trends and regulatory compliance issues
o Provide information on potential product-line extensions/ company acquisitions

Planning
o Formalise a customer development program per customer and country to drive new business
o Regularly hold planned and structured meetings with all key accounts

Support
o In conjunction with our Customer Service Department, provide exemplary levels of customer support to ensure good long term relationships
o Assist Customer Service Department with general quotations
o Follow up all leads and assist Manufacturing Department with order prioritisation

Reporting
o Report formally and monthly to the Sales Manager, outlining successes, failures and reasons for variance against budget and forecast
o Maintain forecast file to be accurate as possible for financial planning purposes

Requirements
To be successful in securing this role you will ideally need experience of:
* Working with distributors, agents and customers in Eastern Europe
* New business development and key account management (Quantifiable track record thereof)
* Commercial management (including pricing, profit margin, tenders etc.)
* Liaising with multiple functions (production, manufacturing, customer service, supply chain etc)
* Fluency in the Russian language
* Willingness to travel regularly
