GENERAL SUMMARY: Industrial Account Manager is responsible for driving outside sales revenue from existing and developing new Western Canadian Oil and Gas customers. The Account Manager is the primary customer-facing person who owns and nurtures the customer relationship, along with the support of inside sales, customer service, and credit teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Fulfills gross profit goal within product pricing targets set by the National Sales Manager
• Achieves this through maintaining desired blend of module, inverter, mounting system, battery, and Balance of System sales from both existing and new customers located within specified region and market type
• Up-sell and cross-sell within existing customer base.
• Find and Develop new Industrial customers in Western Canada.
• Primary interface with customer throughout the sales cycle — pre-sale, sale and post-sale activities.
o Setting expectations with lead-time, credit terms, order tracking (with Customer Service dept.) and resolving customer conflicts.
• Maintain and develop strong customer relationships.
• Medium term forecasting, individual account strategy and short-term response to market conditions
• Pricing strategy based on volume expectations
• Product recommendation and feedback appropriate to regional and customer-specific needs
• Will provide feedback to management team of market-specific pricing, conditions, and technical product requirements

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS: Regular contact with National Sales Manager and members of Sales, Customer Service, Credit and Technical Support team. Will participate in discussion with marketing team and purchasing team on a secondary basis as specific need arises; however strategic discussions will take place through superior.

Requirements
• Must have sales experience or demonstrate ability to communicate features/benefits of technology in a complex environment utilizing exceptional communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience in the supply of product to the Western Canadian oil and gas market is a strong asset.
• Must have or achieve/maintain detailed product knowledge.
• Must have customer-service oriented mentality.
• Knowledge of finance-oriented sales a plus
• Problem solving skills and comfort with dynamic environment essential for growth.
• Proficiency with MS Office and computer literacy a must
• University degree is preferred but can be waived for person with excellent communication skills.

• Must be able to type and use telephone
• Must be available to represent company at tradeshows
• Travel and ability to drive an automobile is required
