age and holds nationality or current residents in a country in Sub-Saharan

equivalent higher education institution in Sub-Saharan Africa and have

Scholarship Description: The Coimbra Group Scholarship Programme for young African researchers
aims to enable scholars to undertake research for a short research period

What does it cover?
Aarhus University: The university will cover the costs of reasonable
accommodation and food (1300 Euros/ month). Travel expenses up to 1000 Euros
will be reimbursed. The university does not provide any insurance for the
visitor. We strongly recommend that (s)he signs full time health, liability and
accident insurance.

up to 800€ will be reimbursed. One for Administrative Staff:€900 per month plus

University of Graz: The University will provide 1,000 EUR per month.
Travel expenses: Reimbursement of travel expenses up to 600 EUR. Available
facilities: Access to computer and library. The university will provide
assistance in finding accommodation.
University of Groningen: €1.190 per month (including housing);
reimbursement of travel expenses up to €1250 Insurance: Health insurance (about
€40 per month).
University of Leuven: 1600 euro / month (No travel expenses nor any
other costs are reimbursed).
University of Padova: 950 EUR per month. Travel expenses will be
reimbursed up to 950 EUR,
University of Poitiers: Access to computer and libraries. The
International Relations Office provides assistance in finding accommodation
