We are seeking Community Support Workers to provide high quality in-home and
community support services to frail older people and younger people with a
disability and their carers. This rewarding career path will be ideal for those
with a focus on enabling clients’ well-being and independence and an interest
in working with a variety of people.
As a Community Support Worker your key responsibilities will be:
-To provide high quality Community Support Services to support frail aged
people, disabled people and their carers to maintain their independence at home
and in the community
-These services include: personal care, home care, respite services and
assistance with shopping and banking.
-To provide the services in a professional and client focussed manner.
Participation in supervision and mentoring program
The successful applicant will possess a Certificate III in Health and Community
Care (or equivalent). We offer flexible working hours including consideration
for school hours as well as evening and weekend work. University students
majoring in health sciences, with certificate qualification, are welcome to
apply.
The successful applicant must have a Victorian Driver’ Licence and an insured
reliable motor vehicle for use in work hours.
A successful application is subject to a satisfactory police record and
pre-employment medical check.
