When only the best will do…
The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust has a deserved reputation as one of the most forward-thinking and innovative foundation trusts in the UK, and you will be joining us at a time when we are about to start the next phase of our extraordinary journey.
Having merged with our local Community Service under TCS, we’re now poised to take NHS care to the next level, through the integration of hospital and community services and the development of new and innovative service models. This will lead to a step change in the delivery of care outside of hospital. Nothing less than whole system redesign is on our agenda, and our strategy provides the blueprint to get us there.
Following the imminent departure of our current CFO to the commercial sector, we are now looking for a new leader to join our remarkable team.
You will already be a seasoned Finance Director with an excellent track record of managing financial performance through effective planning, engagement, delivery and great leadership. Whilst the Trust is in reasonable financial shape, the challenges that lie ahead for the NHS means that we need a CFO already operating at the top of their game.
As would be expected of such a position, you will carry a broad portfolio of responsibility, including contracting, business planning, procurement and information technology, and work alongside a great executive team who embrace corporate responsibility and accountability.
The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant already operating at NHS Board level in the NHS, and preferably with commercial sector experience. The role will require the ability to demonstrate a successful track record of innovation, transformation and leading change.
If we have inspired you, then why not get in touch and tell us how you are going to make us even more successful by appointing you?
For informal enquires please contact Brian James, Chief Executive on 01709 307522. To apply please submit a CV with a cover letter detailing why you are the best candidate for the role to michelle.sheppard@rothgen.nhs.uk
Closing date: 19th May 2011
