Minimum requirements for all the two positions is a Masters of Education in the
specific study area one is applying for, Applicants with a Doctoral degree have
an added advantage, Successful applican
ts must have track records in empirical
scholarship evidenced by publications in referred journals, and in securing
external funding related to established research lines for major grants, Candidates
should also have teaching experience at both secondary school and college of
not less than 3 yrs in each of the cited institution, Other required attributes
include an understanding of developmentally responsible teaching appropriate to
adolescents and adult teaching methods, experience with new technologies of
instruction and commitment to collaborative programme development
Positions are being offered on 2 year contract and the duties for the 2
contract positions will include
Teaching courses in both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, Supervising
and examining postgraduate dissertations, Conducting research, Participating in
grant proposal writing and Any other activities as may be assigned by the
College
