The Camp

Founded in 1947 Kandalore offers a traditional camp experience for children 6 –

andalore became co-educational in
1992. The camp prides itself on its warm and supportive community where
children are made to feel included in the camp culture. The supportive nature
of the camp allows for the campers to try new activities and develop new skills
with the help of caring staff members.

Our Trip Program:

Kandalore’s history and reputation for canoe tripping and paddling is something
that we are extremely proud of. All of the campers at Kandalore take part in
our trip program. At the intermediate age (12-13) our campers start to take
part in river trips.

Some of the rivers that we run are:
– Madawaska
– Magnetawan
– French
– Dumoine
– Coulonge
– Moisie
– Bloodvein
– Broadback
– and many others.
