CA Global: Power and Energy (Africa / International Positions) has a client that is in need of an “Occupational Nursing Technician” (Nursing / General Practitioner). The position will be based in Malawi
(1) Position available for the advert post. International company working on location for coal/mining project is in need of skilled Nurse practitioner to assist the Medical Doctor on site; performing the following duties.
Duties:
Assisting the Doctor in occupational examinations (admissions, periodic, function change, etc.) followed by issuing of certificate(s) confirming occupational health
Insure control of the absenteeism of employees through statistical analysis, monitoring of absent employees, and issuing of health certificates
Administer first-aid in case of work accidents
Follow-up with reports of work accidents
Assist in the organization of health promoting campaigns
Study and make recommendations on Statistical analysis of occupational health-related factors
Take part in the creation of the health budget
Carry out and oversee first-contact, health-checks for all employees
Requirements:
Recognized Nursing Diploma
A solid 2 yrs. experience in work related occupational nursing assignments
Skills aptitude:
Proven track record on related assignment that the above role demands
Fluent in both English and Portuguese
