No 1 in their sector they are now looking for a Business Development Manager to continue this organisations success.
The Role
As a Business Development manager working within a dedicated media sales team you will be responsible for the development of new business from a range of SME and Corporate clients. You will sell across their portfolio which includes online, print solutions, events, promotions, partnership opportunities and other added value services. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities and areas for growth. This will involve sourcing leads, cold telemarketing calls to potential customers. You will be responsible for face to face meetings where you will identify the business needs then create, design and present innovative new media solutions tailored to the client to ensure results and repeat business. Once on board this will involve managing and nurturing these accounts, ensuring optimisation of revenue streams. You will be working to set deadline and revenue target. You will have the support and back up of strong case studies, online presentation tools, metrics and marketing information to ensure sales success. You will be responsible for keeping up to date with industry news, trends and competitor analysis.
The Candidate
To apply for this role you will require a minimum of 4 years experience selling advertising space from any medium in a field sales environment (i.e. radio, newspapers, magazines, television, digital, outdoor etc). You will require experience of selling online media and online ad formats. You will have a strong understanding of the media buying, marketing principles and decision making drivers, coupled with creativity, drive, motivation and passion to develop new business in a competitive market. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate at all levels.
