Bright Beginnings
Applecross is a highly regarded Independent Kindergarten for 2.5 – 5 year old
children.

We are seeking an
Education Assistant who has a genuine love of children, a friendly and caring
personality and a positive and enthusiastic attitude. 

You will be joining
a team of early childhood professionals who are committed to providing an
outstanding kindergarten program.

This position is
8.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday
until 16 December 2016 with the possibility of
continuing in 2017.

We will consider
appointing one full-time or two part-time Education Assistants to fill the
role.

Our Kindergarten
operates 48 weeks a year. We close for 4 weeks over the Christmas and New Year.
Paid Annual Leave will be taken at this time when the Kindergarten is closed.

Our ideal candidate
will have:

• Experience
  in a similar role.
• A
  genuine love of working with children.
• A
  willingness to learn new skills and participate in professional
  development opportunities.
• A high
  standard of personal presentation.
• A
  friendly smile and confidence when interacting with children and their
  parents.

The successful
candidate must have:

• A
  minimum of Certificate III in Education and Care (or equivalent)
• Working
  With Children
• Relevant
  First Aid
• Police
  Clearance

A Diploma in Early
Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) will be highly regarded.
