Job description

The Bridge2Rwanda Training Center
is seeking a high capacity, enthusiastic test prep instructor to join our
teaching team in Kigali, Rwanda. This position is
responsible for teaching SAT, TOEFL (and potentially GRE) strategy and prep
courses. Primary focus will be with our Scholars Program, a 10 month university
preparation program for 30+ of Rwanda
and Central Africa’s brightest students. More

The ideal candidate will have
experience such as teaching Kaplan or Princeton Review classes for SAT and
TOEFL or will have a sufficient background in teaching of English and
literature that they can train as a test prep instructor. Additional classes
offered to partner organizations provide substantial bonus opportunities, as
well!

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree Required

• Kaplan Certification (or Princeton Review or similar)
  for SAT and TOEFL required, by the time of start date (experience
  preferred, but training can be offered)

• 2+ years of teaching/tutoring experience preferred

• International living/teaching experience preferred

• TESOL Certification preferred

• Classroom confidence with ability to hold attentions of
  students

• Mentoring experience is appreciated

• Ability to quickly adapt to a new environment

• Culturally sensitive and aware

• Self-starter with a keen interest in implementation

• Strong organizational skills, including effective time
  management

• International living experience highly appreciated
