– The research fellowships are designed as training opportunities, and the
quality of the training plans and environment are a factor in evaluation of
fellowship proposals.
– Academic faculty holding the rank of Instructor or above are not eligible,
nor are graduate or medical students, medical residents, permanent government
employees, or employees of private industry.
