Who is the next
Head of Legal?

A candidate who
has at least 5 years as a lawyer, either at a law firm, in a bank or an
international company and has a Masters degree in law. He or she has
excellent knowledge of English and French both written and verbal. Our Head
of Legal should be professional, trustworthy, has a good understanding of
legal, court procedures and banking regulations.

Service mission

To ensure that BPR
complies with all applicable legislation and regulations. Advise the
management team of BPR in all legal matters, defend BPR in court if necessary
and liaise closely with outside counsel.

Responsibilities

To ensure that
correct legal advice is given at all time;

To ensure that all
bank policies comply with the regulatory framework of Rwandan law and BNR
regulations;

National as well
as international information exchange and benchmarking on legal matters with
outside counsel and partner banks.
