Australian Flameproof Services Fitter & Turner with electrical and mechanical assembly skills Job Vacancy in Australia

Australian Flame proof Services is a leading
supplier of explosion protection systems to a variety of industries and
also provides an engineering/modification service to the materials handling
industry throughout Australia. We are currently seeking an experienced,
enthusiastic, dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our expanding team.
We encourage all trades to apply as we seek multi skilled individuals with
experience also in dc electrical systems and welding or be willing to
be trained in these areas.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful
applicant shall be an experienced trades person with hands on
experience in manual machining, and be generally mechanically m

inded and
willing to learn. Experience in the Materials Handling industry would also be
highly regarded.

The duties will include, however are not limited
to:

Manual machining (lathe and mill) and fitting

Strip down and reassembly of new industrial
equipment.
Complete fitment of new electrical systems
Reading and interpret engineering/electrical
drawings.
Component manufacture, repair and
modification.
Completion of jobs in a quick, efficient and
accurate manner with a high attention to detail.
Flexibility to perform other duties within the
manufacturing environment when required.

Working hours are: Mon-Fri 7.00am to 3pm and
overtime when required.
