premier product known as ip3, to serve commercial marketing, publishing, and retail
organizations.

We are currently
launching our next generation of our Digital Asset Management and web
publishing

solutions, and have a requirement for a skilled content librarian.

The Marketing
Database Administrator will be responsible for obtaining and populating a
50,000 to 100,000 product database. Your duties will include contacting by
email and/or phone manufacturers and distributors to request their high
resolution images, product information, and marketing materials for publishing
via their resellers websites. The position also includes ongoing updates and
maintenance of website using tools such as WordPress, CSS, and some HTML.
Persistence, quality of work, multitasking, and attention to detail are strong
traits in the individual we select for this position.

Your
Responsibilities include

  • Work
    independently and collaboratively to obtain and enter product information
    from manufacturer’s and distributors
  • Scheduling
    work assignment, ensuring completeness of tasks, and providing feedback
    for 4-6 person team; managing drop boxes and file transfer processes
  • Marketing-related
    copywriting along with Editing and Proofreading of all content prior to
    publishing
  • Prompt
    and repeated follow-up activities to ensure complete receipt of required
    data and images. Includes ability to cold call supplier’s marketing
    representatives
  • Photoshop-based
    image cropping and editing including file size and resolution management
  • Implementation
    and modification of data entry policies and practices
  • Other
    related activities


Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Solid
    proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Photoshop
  • General
    experience with data entry policies and practices, taxonomy rules
  • Post-Secondary
    Education
  • Working
    knowledge of both MAC and PC environments
  • Exceptional
    research skill
