Our Client is a privately owned company who has been
operating for the past 30 years specialising in  high quality, well designed
furniture products for Commercial, Residential, Educational, Hospitality, and
Healthcare spaces.. They provide one on one customer service direct to
businesses and provide creative workspace furniture.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an
experienced Sales Consultant to join their very successful sales
team.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, your duties will
include but not limited to:
  • Ability to build strong relationships with
    clients
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and
    other accounts as assigned
  • Preparing presentations, proposals and sales
    contracts
  •  Implement special sales activities to
    reduce stock
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars,
    trade shows, and telemarketing events
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals
  • Perform tasks relating to estimating, costing,
    quoting and purchasing to a high standard
  • Experience with a CRM database
To be successful in this role you will need to
demonstrate the following:
  • Previous sales experience, ideally in the
    furniture industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to perform quoting tasks
  • High level of computer skills
  • Outgoing, energetic and confident attitude
  • Qualifications in Sales and Marketing desirable
  • Ability to understand building plans and tender
    documents desirable
