opportunity has arisen for a Senior Civil Engineer with Asset Management /
Asset Planning experience to work within a friendly team of professionals at a
Council situated in Melbour
ne. Our client is
easily accessible by public transport and offer their staff a healthy
work / life balance.
Employed as a Senior Civil/Asset Engineer, you will be responsible for
implementation, development and providing strategic planning advice to enhance
asset management plans, ensuring compliance of asset management plans and
coordinating the development of their Capital Works Program. You will
also be responsible for infrastructure planning, preparing reports and liaison
with internal and external stakeholders.
As the ideal candidate you will have/be:
• A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, or relevant experience /
qualifications
• A Senior Civil Engineer with Asset Management / Planning experience, ideally
within a Local Government work environment
• Previous experience preparing and developing asset strategy plans and capital
work programs
• A solid understanding of Asset Management principles and best practice
• Outstanding management and leadership skills
• Proficient with use of Asset Management Systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A current drivers licence
