We are currently seeking an experienced GIS Officer
to join the Assets team at a Council located in the Western Regional Victoria.
Our client has an immediate need for a GIS professional to join them
permanently.

Employed as a GIS Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating
Council’s Geographic Information Services
and providing advice and training to
staff to ensure they are proficient with the use of GIS. You will also assist
staff with mobile mapping and development and maintenance of their Assets
Register system.
As the ideal candidate you will have / be:
- Tertiary qualifications on Spatial
Technology or related discipline - An Intermediate GIS Officer with previous
experience in Victorian Local Government - Previous experience managing the
operation and administration of Geographic Information Systems - Demonstrated ability to manage budget
allocations - Understanding of application of GIS in Local
Government - Excellent written and verbal communication
skills - Proficient with use of Exponare
- A current drivers licence
