Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition and Talent Management (Ref: 45 – AMTATM)
North (Singapore)
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition (40%)
• Work closely with business managers to understand manpower requirements and draw up / execute timely plans and strategies to meet manpower needs for Singapore as well as the regional countries.
• Understand market manpower demands and gather intelligence to strengthen staffing strategies. Define / refine and manage the full cycle of the recruitment process and develop an effective candidate pipeline.
• Manage the recruiting pipeline including determining resources status and needs, coordinating recruiting events and sourcing activities, assessing, and managing referral processes.
• Identifying and analysing key recruiting issues and generating appropriate solutions.
• Prepare weekly headcount forecast as well as quarterly charts for operation review.
• Build, develop and maintain effective vendor relationships to ensure efficient and effective service.
• Manage career fairs and extensive professional networking with local and international top schools, foster university relations.
• Prepare salary packages and perform job offerings.
• Ensure HR-related policies are up-to-date and in line with business needs.
• Ensure HR department fulfill internal and external audit requirements.
• Collaborate with HR Service Centre for efficient onboarding process such as work pass application
Talent Management (60%)
• Conduct 90-day new hire pulse feedback and focus groups.
• Plan and conduct orientation program for new employees.
• Evaluate and implement initiatives to nurture growth of leaders for the future and accelerate development of young talents.
• Leverage and partner with Global offices to tap on global programs and initiatives for regional cascade on talent management.
• Support business/functions succession plans and engage with management in the implementation of appropriate training roadmaps including gap analysis and their learning and development plans.
• Conduct various employee engagement programs/activities such as Manager’s Dialogue & Employee’s Dialogue and bi-annually newsletter.
Requirements:
• Degree qualified
• Knowledge of the supply chain and/or business outsourcing industries, specifically across high-value to senior level Sales and Consulting positions
• Proven ability in utilizing Boolean search techniques across multiple search engine platforms.
• Proven ability to effectively utilize social networking sites to identify and engage passive candidates.
• A demonstrable track record in directly source/engage potential candidates via telephone and electronically to effectively communicate and generate interest in our company as an employer of choice.
• Able to effectively manage demanding workloads and competing priorities.
• Self-starter, able to analyse effectively and critique with clarity.
• Business savvy, strategic and customer oriented with multi-tasking capabilities and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills. An assertive mindset is essential as you may need to push back the business leaders.
• Possesses excellent Microsoft skills (powerpoint and excel such as pivot table, v-lookup, etc) in processing and presenting data in visual charts.
• As this role is based in Singapore, some knowledge of the local employment act is a must.
