Studying in Australia isn’t cheap these days. Hence, the University of New South Wales is offering Scholarships and Awards to support highly motivated aspirants from all around the world. The scholarships are awarded for studying the undergraduate and postgraduate coursework.
Several scholarships are available for students commencing full-time study at UNSW. Some scholarships will provide a full or partial tuition fee payment, while others offer a stipend to assist with the costs associated with studies.
University of New South Wales

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are expected to meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for this educational programme:
- The applicant must be an International student.
- Candidate must be commencing studies in Term 3 2020.
- Candidate must have received an offer of admission.
- Applicant must be commencing in any UNSW undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree program.
- Applicant must demonstrate academic merit and leadership skills.

The scholarship will be awarded as follow:
- A number of scholarships are available.
- The university will provide the amount worth up to $5,000.
You can be eligible for the following scholarships by applying for the Term 3 2020-UNSW Foreign Application for Scholarships.
- Offer 1: Full tuition fee scholarships paid directly towards tuition fees for the minimum duration of the program
- Offer 2: $20,000 per annum paid directly towards tuition fees for the minimum duration of the program
How to Apply for the Scholarship
For applying to theses studentships, candidates are needed to follow this application procedure:
Step 1: Apply for Admission
Before applying to the studentship, candidates will be demanded to take admission in the undergraduate and graduate degree program at the University of New South Wales. Aspirants will be automatically eligible for this scholarship after taking affirmation.
Step 2: Submit required documents
- High school degree certificate transcripts of the current school
- Transcripts of the previous school (only if requested)
- Post-secondary transcript
- Official test scores
- Resume/curriculum vitae
Entry Requirements
- You are required to hold their High School Certificate for an undergraduate degree.
- You are expected to hold an Undergraduate Certificate for a postgraduate degree.
- You would need to fulfil both the criteria for academic admission and the requirements for the English language to gain entrance to UNSW.
- Candidates are expected to verify other entry criteria.
Visa Requirements
International students studying at UNSW need a UNSW Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) and a Department of Home Affairs visa for the duration of their course. Students and their dependents can use VEVO to find out their visa conditions, expiry date, study and job entitlements online.
