The Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health (Forensicare) provides specialist mental health care to people with a mental illness associated with the criminal justice system.
Forensicare is seeking an Allied Health Assistant (PSO-2) on a part time basis (38 hours per fortnight) to work at Thomas Embling Hospital in Fairfield. This is a 116 bed hospital with work areas ranging from acute care to intensive rehabilitation. You will work closely with patients and other clinicians in a supportive and well resourced hospital.
Applicants should have a full or partial completion of a qualification in a relevant field (eg. Certificate or Diploma in welfare or disability support OR willing to work towards such a qualification.)
