AGC Mechanical Fitters Job Vacancy in Australia

AGC has been awarded the maintenance division for
Karratha Gas Plant. The duration of the shutdown runs from 30th April to 10th
July 2014.
Working within a multi discipline, high pressure
shutdown environment on Karratha Gas Plant(Domgas Train 1) the successful
candidate will have a proven track record within their field as a high
performing individual. Work will be carried out over day and night shifts with the
specific roster varying dependant on the phase of shutdown. The ability to
follow procedures and work in a safety conscious manner is essential. This
shutdown

forms part of a bigger ongoing program of works and high performers
may be invited to take part in future
works

Your Main responsibilities for this position will
include
  • Use a range of tools and engineering
    techniques to maintain
  • replace/repair mechanical plant machinery
    and equipment to operational standards      
  • Identification of defective or worn mechanical
    components or equipment, repair/replacement of worn/faulty
    components or equipment, and modifications
To be successful in this role you require the
following skills and attributes:
  • You’ll be appropriately skilled and qualified
    within your chosen trade
  • You’ll be honest, hard-working and a good team
    player
  • You must be flexible and adaptable in a
    challenging environment.
  • Hold a current Mechanical Fitters
    Certificate          
  • Hold a nationally accredited OHS card
    (White/Blue card)
  • First response to fire certificate (Highly
    desirable)
  • Previous KGP experience (Highlydesirable)
  • Be available for animmediate start
