Purpose
of the job
The
job holder plays a key role in related procedures to warehousing functions,
plans the supply for all production centres and monitors all raw material,
chemicals, ingredients and packaging inventories to contribute towards
achievement of production targets
Key
Responsibilities
  • Carry
    out daily physical operations in raw materials
  • Verify
    and keep the offloaded raw materials from suppliers
  • Arrange
    items in the store in order to facilitate FEFO methods of management
  • Prepare
    pick list and allocate it in designated area
  • Carry
    out physical count checks and report to supervisor 
  • Filling
    and updating BIN Card/ Stock card
  • Operate
    forklift
  • Check
    forklift on a regular basis, according to checklist
  • Implement
    health and safety environment in line with company policy.
  • Prepare
    a daily raw material report and highlight on stock outs, and relate to
    plan
  • Any
    other duties assigned by the supervisor
Knowledge
and educational level

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management or any other
    related area, or a university student in the related fields with 5 years
    of experience.
Required
level of experiences
  • 3
    years’ experience in Demand and Supply Chain Management or Procurement
    Management
  • Proven
    experience in Warehouse management
  • Good
    command of SAP ERP system
  • Excel
    reporting skills
  • Ability
    to drive/operate forklift machines (Rwandan Driving license class F)
